Dizmezs Ltd is a family business founded by brothers Gunars Mitris and Edgars Mitris back in 1996. It was started as the sawmill for production of Birch Lumber.
There are three business divisions these days – forest management of own forest land, including harvesting and logging activities; sawmilling and production of Birch furniture components; production of various winterfuels.
Production of winterfuels have been remarkably growing share of business since 2007 and all production of firewood, briquettes, kindling etc. are made in-house, where there are modern processing facilities, including sawmill, dimension mill, all necessary splitting / drying equipment followed by 18 000 m² large warehouse, where the ready products are accumulated for the season.
All Kiln Dried products produced of Dizmezs Ltd come from sustainably managed forests and there is PEFC certificate available on our products.
Since 2014 special part of winterfuel products are being sold under the trade name GLOWWOOD which is brand of Dizmezs Ltd.
GLOWWOOD brand was created for upmarket consumers choosing the consistency of top quality products made from sustainably managed raw materials on sustainable basis.
All of this enables GLOWWOOD to provide its customers with top quality products and top quality service, which is the key to successful business, done in cooperation with retailers in main European markets.
